Application
TraceManager is an entry-level application we have developed that allows small producers and processors to track the movement of raw materials through pre-defined production steps.
"From seed to shelf and catchment to can"
Since getting into the Traceability industry we have identified the need for a system to track the movement of raw materials / finished / processed product through the various "stations" within an organisation.
We have touted it as the "Seed to shelf or catchment to can" system for smaller agricultural farms and processors. This product is an entry level administrative tool.
As an example a farmer growing sunflowers may track the receipt of batches of seeds (including lot numbers) and supplier details. The farmer can then allocate which plot number on a farm and then which warehouse the product moves into.
A fish processor can for example receive batches of salmon (including which catchment area etc) and receive them and then define various "stations" (Slicing, dicing, salting) and administer the movement of a specific lot number through their production process.
The system is flexible and allows a production manager to:
It is typically an administrative tool allowing somebody to look up the batch number and see what dates which lot number moved from where to where. Reports can then be generated.
