BASF Animal Nutrition choose BatchManager

BASF Animal Nutrition have selected ProLoCon’s BatchManager software to assist them with their raw material traceability and formulation management.

ProLoCon MD Andrew Ashton commented: "The team at BASF required a system to replace their existing set-up. The system had to be proven and easy to implement".

BatchManager in conjunction with Mettler Toledo ID7 terminals will improve their manufacturing process by handling the weighing of raw materials various operator stations. The system works side-by-side with their existing production scheduling application, which passes job detail to BatchManager. This then strictly controls the weighing process.

BatchManager provides a cost effective "off the shelf" solution with a proven track-record for South African food and feed manufacturing companies who are attempting to comply with international standards relating to lot number traceability.
